Markup Calculator – Cost to Selling Price
Set a selling price from unit cost and a markup percentage on cost.
Formula
Price = cost × (1 + markup/100); margin = profit / price × 100%.
Gross profit ≈ (80)×(25)÷100 · Selling price ≈ (80)+(20) · Gross margin ≈ 100×(20)÷(100)
How to use
- Enter a positive unit cost.
- Set the markup percentage on cost.
- Review price, gross profit and margin.
Examples
- Cost 80 plus 25% markup gives price 100 and margin 20%.
