Sod Calculator
Use your supplier’s coverage per roll or piece to estimate a whole-piece order.
Formula
Required area = lawn area × (1 + allowance/100); pieces = round up(required area ÷ coverage).
Net lawn area: 1,000 ft² · Coverage per roll or piece: 10 ft² · Required area ≈ (1,000 ft² × 0.09290304 m²/ft²)×(1+(5)÷100) · Required square feet ≈ (97.548192)÷0.09290304 · Whole rolls or pieces ≈ ceil(((97.548192)÷(10 ft² × 0.09290304 m²/ft²))×(1-8.881784197001252e-16))
