Formula
Remaining seconds = target − reference; split into 24-hour days, hours and minutes.

How to use
- Set the UTC reference date and time.
- Choose a target at or after the reference.
- Read days, hours, minutes and seconds left.
Examples
- 12:00 on October 12 to 15:30 on October 13 is 1 day, 3 hours, 30 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Does the countdown tick live?
No. It calculates from the editable reference, fixed initially at October 12, 2026, 12:00 UTC.
Can I use local times?
Convert them to UTC first if offsets differ or daylight saving changes.
What if the target has passed?
Move the reference or target; a negative countdown is rejected.
