Scientific calculator
Evaluate a finite real expression with standard math functions.
Formula
Order: parentheses, powers, unary signs, ×/÷, +/−; powers associate right.
How to use
- Type an expression using decimal points.
- Use radians for sin, cos, tan and atan.
- Read the approximate real result.
Examples
- sin(pi/2) = 1.
- sqrt(81)+log10(100) = 11.
Frequently asked questions
Which functions are available?
sqrt, ln, log10, exp, abs, round, floor, ceil, min, max, pow, sin, cos, tan, atan; constants pi and e.
How do I enter multiplication and powers?
Use * and ^: 2*pi, 3^2. Function calls need parentheses; commas separate arguments.
Are there syntax or precision limits?
Use at most 4096 characters and 1024 tokens. Results use floating-point arithmetic; undefined or nonfinite operations are rejected.
